BUSINESS PLAN PRESENTATION
With the advent of Industrialization, pollution has grown manifold. All major initiatives in our country like Green Revolution, White Revolution, Industrial Revolution, etc. to increase production and availability of products and services, have all led to one revolution: the POLLUTION Revolution.
The pollutants disposed away by industries on land and water, have uprooted many human habitats (villages) that survived on it, and have killed marine life. Inorganic pollutants used as pesticides have killed many insect species, birds, and even vultures. Pollution has broken the nature cycle and the food pyramid.
Despite our best efforts, we have not been able to stop pollution. However hard we try, we know that we cannot stop pollution now, as our life is completely dependent on the industries that create it.
But as goes the saying: "Waste is not a waste, until you waste it". So, is there a way to use the pollutants constructively? ......THINK.....! The technology or solution may be costly, but will it be costlier than LIFE?
What do you think can be done?
Take a look at the various forms of pollution and pollutants on the Home Page.
Can there be a way, that these pollutants be used to create new livelihoods for the affected people.....
Can setting up a chain of small scale / cottage industry with the pollutants generate employment there.....
Can some pollutants be used to create products, that kill other pollutants or something useful.....
Can pollutant of one industry be used, to make the pollutant of another industry useful........
Can the power of any pollutant generate energy, that can be used for some work by the affected people......
These questions will spark off many more questions, and set you to think the unthinkable.
Put your thoughts together, use all the knowledge and skills you have to come up with some Business Plan, that might become a passion and career path for you. Your solution will set other minds thinking too.
Present your thoughts in the form of a Business Plan presentation at PEHAL-2014. The most innovative, simple, practical plans will get the awards. But everyone will get the encouragement and guidance from Business, technology and innovation experts.
